ObservePoint was founded in 2007 by online marketing experts John Pestana and Rob Seolas. Having experienced the pain that comes from maintaining web tracking implementations in highly dynamic organizations, our co-founders set out to provide the web analytics industry with an affordable, easy-to-use solution to common implementation problems. Robert K. SeolasCEO, Co-FounderRobert K. Seolas is a 15-year online business veteran. Robert co-founded iLead Media, an online marketing company that was acquired by Think Partnership in 2006. Rob is a web analytics auditing and website performance expert, having audited over 1,000 online properties. Robert is a frequent speaker and advocate of data quality improvement. He can be found speaking at eMetrics Optimization Summit, WebTrends Engage, and Web Analytics Wednesday. Robert is active in his community, where he currently serves as the Chairman and Tournament Director for Utah Hemophilia Foundation. He is an avid world traveler, having spent time in UK, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Greece, Holland, France, Germany, Belgium, India, Singapore, and Japan. He holds Bachelors of Science degrees in Business Management and Political Science from Brigham Young University. |

John R. PestanaCo-FounderJohn Pestana is the Co-Founder of Omniture, a web analytics firm based in Orem, Utah. John helped build and grow Omniture to company of over 1200 employees. Omniture grew from a student run business to a world-wide, publicly traded company in 2006. Omniture was sold to software giant Adobe for 1.8 Billion dollars in November of 2009. |
J. Tyler BroadbentDirector of EngineeringTyler has spent over 14 years in web applications development. He has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies on a variety of application builds ranging from handheld GPS, CRM, billing, support portals, medical schedulers, and most recently, automated analytics auditing. Tyler has been instrumental in building SiteAudit from the ground up. When not glued to a computer monitor, Tyler enjoys playing golf, volleyball, basketball, and Call of Duty. He was a university scholar at BYU, earning an Associate’s degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems. |
Matthew T. MillerDirector of MarketingA native of San Diego, California, Matthew joined ObservePoint in 2008. He believes his calling is to help web analysts do more of what they love with ObservePoint. A natural leader, he loves to bring people together to achieve cooperative greatness. In his free time, he can be found in the recording studio or making magic at a local music venue. He is a multi-instrumentalist and a highly sought after music producer. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Business Management from Brigham Young University, and a Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix Utah Campus, is a member of Mu Kappa Tau, the American Marketing Association, and the Web Analytics Association. |
Alan M. FeuerleinLead Web Applications EngineerRaised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Alan is ObservePoint’s lead web applications engineer. With a strong background in mathematics and scalable applications development, Alan is determined to keep systems stable and trustworthy. He enjoys learning and progressing in his craft while finding interesting and helpful information to improve ObservePoint. In his free time, Alan likes to run marathons, play video games, and golf. He also has an affinity for cooking and has recently mastered the art of brining. Alan holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Philosophy and Mathematics from Brigham Young University, where he taught introductory philosophy courses. |
Clint C. EagarDirector of Client ServicesA self-proclaimed jack of many trades, Clint claims to know a little about a lot of things. In reality, Clint is the person ask anything you need to know about web analytics auditing. Clint has been building and optimizing websites since 2000 and has worked as a consultant for Omniture, is Google Analytics certified, a SEO expert, a Drupal rockstar, and a member of the Web Analytics Association. When he is not working, you’ll find Clint mountain biking and spending time at home with his six children. Clint holds degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics, and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from the University of Utah, where he was a member of the Utah Center for Human Genome Research group. |
